PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!! I’ve been married for 10yrs and we have 2 children (16 & 7). We have done marriage the wrong way and as result we both carry a lot of deep hurt. 3yrs ago, I cheated on my husband and he wanted to save our marriage but I did not. I was angry with him and myself. I was terrible to him. A year ago, God laid it on my heart that I was come back to Him and reconcile my marriage. My husband is set on divorce. He’s done everything required and we are waiting for a court date. I still feel God calling me to pursue reconciliation but it is at the point that only God can save this marriage. Our children and I are serving the Lord. I know our marriage would work if we did it the way God designed it.
A PRAYER FOR US ALL- after posting my prayer request, I began scrolling through the comments and my heart is breaking, even more. There are so many of God’s children hurting in marriage, I just felt lead to pray for all of us.
FATHER, we come to You, the most Holy and powerful. We come humble ourselves at Your throne of Grace and Mercy, seeking Your will in our hearts, marriages, and families. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Father, may He make Your will clearly known to us. Forgive us for the sins we have committed that have hurt and shamed our spouses. Forgive us for sinning against You, Lord, in not honoring the Holy covenant of marriage. Help us to forgive our spouses for the hurts they have done to us. Help us to forgive like Your Son, Jesus Christ, forgives.
We ask You to incline Your ear to our cries. FATHER, we long to do marriage the way You have intended, fully realizing that Your way is the only way. Soften the hearts of those that enemy has hardened. Break our marriages free from the stronghold of Satan. We know that his plan is to divide Your people and destroy our children. Put a hedge of protection around our hearts, marriages, children, and homes. Bring comfort, strength, and grace to us, Lord. Make Your presence known. Meet our needs. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear. Fill our spouses with Your Holy Spirit. Let Him speak Your will to their softened hearts. Abba, Father, do what only You can do, for the Glory of Christ Jesus. It is in His name that we pray, Amen.
My husband and I have just recently celebrated our one year anniversary and he is wanting out and wants a divorce. He wants to live a different lifestyle. One where he doesn’t want to be committed to a partner. He wants to engage in multiple partners. He identified himself once as a believer but the enemy has deceived him with lust and sex, where he no longer follows Christ and His teachings. Please pray for him, that God will reveal Himself to him and that he will respond positively. I will stay committed to loving him wholeheartedly and I want to save our marriage. Please pray for me as I endure these hardships and for God to give me clarity, guidance and perseverance.
I Monday and Fatima need your powerful prayer support for financial miracle to get married. We have been dating for over 5 years now and she has a great urge to get marriage due to age. I want a door of money to open unto us before end of this month and all powers of demons that are blocking the money for the wedding should die by Holy Ghost fire tonight.
My marriage is falling apart. I’m afraid. I love my husband. I want God to be the head of our marriage and I want God to lead my heart on what to do. And my husband’s heart. Please, please pray God will speak to me again and that I will hear his voice again. That He will forgive our mistakes and help us heal from all the pain we have done to one another. Thank you all.
I would like to ask everyone to pray for mine and my husband Tyler’s marriage to be restored. We have been separated for about 4 months now and have just now began to communicate again over the past few weeks. My husband is being blinded by the devil into living a “fun” life without responsibility which makes it seem like he is happier. I have recently decided to stand for our marriage and fight for it through prayer, fasting and God’s Word. I believe it is His will for our marriage to be reconciled. It is very difficult sometimes to make it through some days wondering what is going on in my husbands mind and what he is doing on the other side of this mountain satan has tried to place between us. I would sincerely appreciate anyone who reads this to agree and pray with me that our marriage be reconciled and SOON in Jesus’ name. Thank you for standing with me in agreement. I pray for others whose marriages are in conflict as well that God will deliver the prodigals and bring them home to Him first, then to their spouses and children where they belong. God bless each of you.
Father God, touch this marriage. You are the beginning and the end. You were in the midst when the union was started and you are still in the midst through tough times. Father God, bless your child as she endures the hardships of marriage. Let her not grow weary in well-doing. Let her remember that you are a just God and you are still able to perform mind-boggling miracles that no man can comprehend. God, mend this marriage. Let the love they once shared grow stronger than ever and take them over. Let their marriage be a shining example of your restorative power.
God forgive them of their sins, the mean words that were spoken and the thoughts that consumed them that did not represent you. God, let them start fresh and give them a love so rich, pure and beautiful that it erases the pain of the past. God you can do this easily so I ask that you do it quickly and give them both wisdom on how to deal with each other moving forward. Let them both commit to honoring their vows and bless them for keeping their covenant. Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for each of our sins and let His blood wash over them and cleanse them right now. I ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Pray for my husband to come back home and love his family.
I love my fiancé. I’m having conflicts with my soon to be mother in law; need lots of prayer for us all. Amen. Ryan and Kay
Hey my name is Karen. I’ve been married for 21 years and my marriage is in jeopardy b/c of me. My husband can’t talk to me. I’ve made bad choices in my life. Please pray my marriage will be healed. I would rather die than get a divorce. I’ve seen JESUS heal and miracles. I know he’s GOD. Please pray. Thanks, Karen from S.C.
My husband and I met when I was in college. I was not physically attracted to him but I thought he had a great personality. He seemed like a nice guy and over time, he proved to be a GREAT guy. For years, I kept him in the friend zone until one day, I gave him a chance. Though I never fell in love with him, I loved him. I valued him, respected him and was loyal to him. Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives. Shortly after the marriage, I became pregnant and things suddenly changed. He no longer came home, he became disrespectful and started to grab/pull and push me. I had had it with him. I decided to move out with our child and now I’m undecided about what I should do. Sometimes I don’t even want to fight for the marriage because I have endured so much pain from it. From the name calling to the cheating/ disrespect, he has done it all to me.
I will admit, I played a roll in the breakdown of our marriage. I did not cook, I was a messy housewife and due to my lack of energy while pregnant, I became a couch/ bed potato. The vivacious, young woman with a business savvy outlook was now lazy, uninspired, “boring”, pregnant and not keeping herself up. On top of that, I was not having sex as many times as he would have probably preferred. To be frank, I felt sick most of the day due to the hormonal changes/ morning sickness I was enduring.
THINGS ARE OUT OF CONTROL AT THIS POINT:
Now the police have gotten involved and he has a record. I’m not sure if I take him back, he will ever respect me like he once did. We have endured too much and I don’t want this volatile situation to affect our child. She is not even a year yet. I just don’t know what to do… at times, I just want to start over with someone else and try my best. One thing for sure, I always felt like cheating is a deal breaker and there is no doubt in my mind that he has cheated.
I’m working to forgive him but that will take a lot. I hope God gives me the answers before I file for divorce.
Please pray for my marriage. Pray that my husband and I can learn to communicate and put one another first…before people outside of our home. That we can learn to listen to one another and learn to truly respect and trust one another. Pray that we would be able to forgive one another’s mistake and learn from them and be able to make our marriage stronger. Until death do we part. Amen.
Through the Holy Spirit I pray that my husband and I became of on accord. That Jesus convicts his heart, mind, tongue, conscience as to how he treats me. Give me favor that while I am waiting for his transformation I remain calm and do not allow his harshness to affect me; help me to regain my happiness, humility, giving and love for him and please have our love and support and like for each other become stronger each day. All in Jesus name! Amen. Also, Lord, please help his disdain and hatred towards me turn to cherish cheerful, laughing, kindness and that he sees himself as he really is – unkempt, unhappy with himself and mean. Jesus, I pray that though he wants to move ahead at this point in his life little can be achieved in the head and heart space he has put upon himself.
Father God, please bless this marriage. I ask you to please help me forgive my husband and for you to please touch his heart. Open his eyes dear Lord. Help him see the truth, help him find his way back to this marriage and family. I beg you God to please hear my cries, please hear my prayers. I want to do what’s right. I want to do your will dear Lord, but I need your help for I can’t fight this fight alone. Please help stop this divorce, which only you have the power to do. Help bring us back together in the path of reconciliation and restore all the love in our marriage. Help me bring my family back together and stop this hurt. Please dear Lord I ask you to please give my husband and I another chance in saving our marriage in doing things the correct way your way, which is always the right way, for my children Lord, for my family, for my marriage.
Please help me believe again Lord. Please help me restore my faith. Please help me forgive myself, help me change. I need your guidance Lord. Please show me the way; show me what I am supposed to do. I need you more than ever dear God. Please touch my heart; please touch my husband’s heart. Help us both find our way back to you my Lord. I ask for a miracle in my marriage God, one that only you can do because there is no one more powerful than you God. I ask for all prayers I can possibly get for reconciliation for my marriage. I thank you dear God for your love and all that you do. In Jesus name, Amen.
