It has been awhile but I’m still in need of prayers. In a moment of weakness, I posted the name, city, details of the affair, and picture of my wife’s lover on an infidelity web site in early October of 2017. At the end of October my wife somehow found out about, not sure how; don’t think she would be searching those sites. Never the less it caused her and her lover to have a huge fight and it broke her heart. She yelled at me in early November screaming she wanted a divorce; she said she hated me, wished she never met me, the only good thing from our relationship was our daughter and that she had slept with her lover when they met in New York earlier that year.
He still lives in Washington and we are still in Maryland. I don’t know what happened that night but I do know a peace that I’ve never known came across me. I turned everything over to GOD and walked away. Now it seems no matter what she does she cannot anger me or bother me. Now our communication has lessened to almost nonexistent and her and her lover have reconciled and are texting again. I want her to come to her senses before she makes decisions that she will regret. I don’t want her to get burdened with regret and feel she cannot come back because of all the things she has done. I have forgiven her and still love my wife more than my own life.
I’m still standing for my marriage and do not want the divorce that she is fervently pursuing. She has talked and retained a lawyer this month. I am requesting prayers for the rebirth of my marriage. I say rebirth and not restoration because I don’t want to return to what we had because that didn’t work but a rebirth of a new marriage to start over. I’m also asking for prayers for the salvation of my wife (Stephanie), my daughter(Keirstan), and my wife’s lover(Charles). They need to accept the LORD as their savior and repent their sins.
God Bless and I’m praying for all standers and rebirth of their marriages. Have FAITH in GOD that he will remake your marriage in his time and it will be better than you can ever imagine.
Hi Rob! Praise God for peace in the midst of so much confusion and chaos. I and so many others join you in praying for a rebirth of your marriage- against your wife’s desire to divorce and for Stephanie’s, Charles and Keirstan’s souls to be saved. So glad to hear that you are still maintaining hope and trusting in God for a miracle. Praying for this year to be full of blessings for you!
Hi Melodee. Thank you so much for all the prayers you have said for me over the past year. I greatly appreciate everyone who keeps me in their prayers.
I Kandra am asking God to repair the marriage between my husband Donald and I. Please pray that we can truly forgive one another and rebuild our marriage and be happier than ever and in love again. Please pray with me that the attacks of the enemy against my husband are stopped and blocked, which is part of what led of to the separation. Please pray the enemy stops tempting him through this mysterious woman he has been in contact with. Please pray that God allows him to no longer be blindsided and distracted by the enemy and he is able to think clearly. Please pray God does a new thing in us both. Please pray something or someone comes in the path of my husband so that he gets a wake up call and his heart is convicted to turn away from his wrongdoing to me as his wife our marriage and our family. Please let us keep an ongoing relationship with God as the head of our lives once our marriage is restored and give him all the honor glory and praise and that we can be a testimony to others.
Kandra, joining you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage and for you and Donald’s relationship to deepen with God. Praising God for doing a new thing and the two of you being a part of it.
I divorced my husband after 7 years of marriage. We split within the first year. Neither of us were Christians when we married and I became impatient with him as I did not understand the importance of the Marriage Covenant.
Last year God advised me how to contact him and told me to write to him and ask for forgiveness and forgive him, which I did. We were liaising over the phone and things seemed to be going ok but he has a lot of baggage.
I am writing for prayer for Marriage Reconciliation as I love my ex husband very much and he has stated that he wants to come home and start afresh. Please also pray that all spiritual and demonic attacks against this Marriage Reconciliation are cancelled in Jesus name and that God will allow us to start a new life together in peace, love and harmony.
Hallelujah! Thanking a God for second chances and that the two of you are mature Christians that can now withstand the attacks of the enemy through the power of the Holy Spirit, the strength of Christ and love of the Father. The devil will not be victorious this time around- he is defeated and his days are numbered. Praying that God remains your priority and the basis of your marriage so that the issues/baggage of the past, stays in the past and the two of you live in peace as one!
Please pray for God to bless me with a Godly husband that loves Jesus, is attractive and fun. Thank you and God bless you !
Praying that God blesses you with a husband that exceeds your expectations and encourages you to become all that God desires.
My name is Celine from India and my prayer request is to restore our love and to fix our problems very soon. We found each other for the purpose of marriage – it’s been almost 4 years. We both are not financially very strong and often we fought. However, through the grace of God we’ve both been faithful to each other. But our relationship is long distance; once in a year for a week or more we’ve been together.
My boyfriend, Xavier has never committed to get married and never allows me to meet his parents. I introduced him to my people. I feel he is just holding me like that. I want our love to be strong and progress if its God’s plan for us. He is a God fearing person but sometimes I doubt. Please pray for us to have the courage to commit each other and to open us the door. Thank you. God Bless you
Celine – joining you in praying that your boyfriend and you are able to follow God’s will for your relationship; either get married and serve him together or peacefully part as friends and wait on the spouse He has for each of you.
Thank you so much for the prayer. Please pray again I am not knowing my future. I wish to find good partner who knows God and who can accept me as I am. I am too old to just settle; till now I didn’t find anyone who’s ready to commit. Instead I wasted my time. I am so frustrated. Please pray for me to find me the right partner to get ready for marriage soon. Thank you so much! God Bless You.
Praying with you that you will know God’s will and desires for your life and be accepting of His plan.
Please pray for our Heavenly Father to speak to my husband Marvin’s heart & mind to change his mind about divorce and NOT to file divorce; instead focus on reconciliation for him to focus on rekindling our marriage and be in love with each other all over again.
Please pray for my husband to come home ASAP for us to start communicating. Please pray for all his affair(s) to end ASAP, expose the truth what they’re doing is completely wrong & ungodly. Please pray for the few people to stop interfering and telling my husband divorce is okay. Satan’s been working overtime by destroying our marriage. Please pray for him to turn around and start walking God’s path.
Heavenly Father, you know what my heart desires for my marriage to be reconciled w/ sooo much Love, happiness, joy, & Blessed with so many Healthy beautiful children together and for my husband and I to live together again ASAP. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayers in advance. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Amen! Praying for your marriage to be revived soon so that you don’t grow weary and give up! Also, praying that Marvin recognizes one of biggest blessings is found in you and stops searching for what he has already been blessed with.
Please pray for the rebirth of our marriage of 19 years and healing of my broken marriage. My wife doesn’t want to communicate since she decided for separation. It’s already 5 months since then. Since that separation I’ve become closer to God and become more active in church activities. It’s an eye opener for me. It shows me all the my shortcomings, mistakes in life and for taking for granted for all the loves, sacrifices and understandings my wife has given to me and to our family. I thanked God for that, because I realized how much I love my wife so much more than myself.
Please pray that Jesus put away all bitterness, anger, wrath and clamor in our heart and instead it will be replaced by kindness, understanding, passion, forgiveness, love and healed any emotional wounds. I pray that God will correct my wife (Nora’s) thoughts, words and actions and place in her heart the burning desire to restore our marriage, and to accept me again in her life and be forgiven of my mistakes. I pray that God will enter in our life and in our marriage to strengthen it more and save it. In Jesus name, Amen
Richard- joining you in praying that Nora and you are able to truly live as one and that the love and Spirit of Christ flows through your hearts, marriage and home. May God bless and keep both of you as He continues to finish the good work He started in both of you.
Please pray that God would bless His elect with discernment, wisdom, and protection from deception. Also that God would use the Holy Spirit to make known the truth of Jesus Christ to set people free from sin and evil. In Jesus’ name I ask.
Amen!
Please pray for our slow-growing marriage. I am committed to Gods covenant of marriage….but feel time is running out!!!!! I want so much to honour our beloved Savior, but my husband still chooses to serve himself and his hypocritical life!! I have forgiven and forgiven him over 20 years of marriage only to be “slapped in the face again!!!” I feel so unworthy and lonely. I also sense he wants me out of his life now that I am old (53 years)…I have become so withdrawn and depressed.
We live in a remote area and I am not from this country. He is very well known and is popular with people; I am the opposite. I long to fellowship again with Christians. Please Lord, send others to meet my need. I ask my fellow Christians to pray that my husband will disassociate himself from the opposite sex due to his unnatural behavior towards them i.e. flirting; especially concerning the inappropriate ‘friendship’ with a certain young woman from another country through f/b. He texts her every day and I realized he has also sent her money. He has also inappropriately requested to visit her next year with the missionary team. This is so disgraceful and dishonoring to me. The devil is laughing and humiliating me again.
I need The Lords sword to cut down every root of humiliation and embarrassment on my behalf!!!!! I am a beautiful and loving hand-maiden of The Lord!!! Praise His loving kindness all through these years of suffering. Pray once more Church! Restore our faith, our marriage, our Christian commitments and our First Love! Thank you, many blessings in Jesus Name. Amen
Praying that your husband finds his identity in Christ and lives to honor Him so that he can honor your marriage and you. Praying that the two of you are able to find true godly, Christian friends who will encourage you to grow stronger in your faith and support your marriage. Hang in there!
My marriage fell apart about 3 years ago. That’s when I started standing and interceding in prayer for a restored marriage. My husband came home suddenly after a separation but I know there will not be a full restoration till he comes back fully to Christ. So please pray for him to humble himself, for a Godly sorrow, that leads to repentance. For him to be set free from anger and bitterness. For God’s Holy Spirit to fill him with love joy and peace. Give him a pure heart and a steadfast spirit. I’m praying for a miracle of a restored marriage and family.
R, joining you in praying for your husband’s salvation so that he can be the man he needs to be for God and you. Praying that as he accepts Christ as his Savior, he will let Him be Lord and he infused with His spirit- so that he is full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, faithfulness and self-control. May you be blessed as you continue to intercede for him and truly model godliness before him.
Please pray for my wife and I to begin rebuilding our marriage and relationship. I have deeply hurt her due to emotional detachment, lack of intimacy, and lustful and pornography addictive behaviors. We have been married for 14 and a half years and have two young children. I know that I have created and brought our issues into our marriage and they have been issues throughout our marriage. We both are having emotional difficulties with this. We have been physically separated since New Year’s Eve with no end in site.
My wife Karen is deeply hurt and has told me several times she doesn’t want to be married anymore. She hasn’t filed divorce papers and I fear that she will. She tells me that she loves me and that I am her best friend but, she doesn’t feel that she can give me her heart or be intimate with me anymore. I am going to therapy and groups to address my issues and get help with them. She also has sought out a therapist but unfortunately has only been able to go once and couldn’t get another appointment until a few weeks later. She agreed to go to marriage counseling and we went to our first appointment, which I thought went well. Unfortunately she didn’t think it was good because the therapist was asking questions about me and my problems and suggested that we need to move under one roof as soon as we are able to. She said she would go one more time but if we don’t start working on our relationship she won’t go again.
I want my marriage to be rebuilt and truly believe that it can be better than it ever has been. She is the love of my life and I cannot imagine not being married to her or being with anyone else. Please help me pray for her healing, my healing, and the rebuilding of our marriage and the trust in our relationship. I broke her heart and did not protect it as I vowed to do when we were married. Please pray for us. Thank you.
Eric, we will be praying for you, Karen, the kids and your marriage. Nothing is impossible for God and we stand in agreement with you that this marriage can be revived and thrive. We’ll be praying for healing, mercy, love, grace and peace to follow freely. Also, we’ll be praying for your counseling sessions to be beneficial for all of you and that both of you will work towards the same goal of modeling Christ in your marriage. Many blessings to you!
My prayer request is that God graces Alex and I for the divorce that is taking place soon. That he loves us both through this painful process. Especially our two beautiful girls, Christina and Angelina. They are in the middle of this process. I ask God that the girls be placed where he wants, period. Also, I thank God…for his love, forgiveness, and mercy. Thank you, Lord for clarity and for your patience with me as I learn how to make you my husband…and I learn how to be a Godly wife. I ask that you bless my ex-husband with your comfort and reveal your heart for him to him……Amen
Praying for God’s peace, mercy and grace and love to abound in all of you as decisions are made. Praying for healing, comfort and that you all grow stronger in your relationship with God. Also praying that your children realize how much both of you love them and that the two of you are able to successfully coparent without the children feeling like pawns. May God continuously bless and keep all of you through this time of transition.

Joining you in praying that you and your fiancé are able to work through your differences and make wise decisions regarding your future together.
Please help me pray for my marriage. I was told the horrible “I love you but I’m not in love with you.” Even worse my husband has been texting an old girlfriend, who lives 7000 miles away and they haven’t seen each other in 25 years. He has told her and me he is in love with her :(
We have been married 20 years and have two teenagers who still live at home. We have gone through a series of hard times recently; a lay off, a death, me suffering depression and OCD that has caused him to resent me! We went to counseling together once and I have gone by myself once – he is supposed to go by himself next. I pray that he follows through. Our current situation is definitely two sided-we both contributed to the disconnection.
All I am asking of him is a fair chance to go to therapy and work together to see if we have a chance, I believe that we do. Please help me pray that he will want to try. Thank you in advance! I am praying for every couple who has posted here! This is so hard and painful!!! 🙏🏻❤️
Praying for you and your husband to reconnect on a spiritual/emotional and physical level so that neither of you will give up on your marriage or be tempted to quit. Praying that both of you are faithful in putting in the work to make your marriage work- that you openly and honestly communicate, but in kindness and with grace. Also trusting God that you both will reap the rewards of fighting for your marriage!
Thank you so much Melodee. I appreciate your kind words and for taking the time to pray for us! 🙏🏻❤️
My name is Juana and I am married to a solider (Alex) who is currently deployed and he has filed for divorce due to a fall-out we had before he left. I dont know when I will ever get to see him again; he does not have a return date and he does not want me near him. He says he’s hurting too much and wants to be alone forever.
I know he still loves me and I love him but he is holding on to the past and the painful things I’ve said to him in anger. I have turned my marriage over to God and I am seeking an intimate relationship with God on a daily basis, praying, fasting and I am attending church. God revealed to me that he wanted me to fight for my marriage but sometimes I need encouragement and hope. Can you please pray for us? Can you pray that God may work on his heart and show him what he has shown me?
Praying that you both allow God to soften your hearts and let go of your anger/bitterness so that His love can flow freely between you. Also, praying that both of you develop a closer/stronger relationship with God so that as you grow in faith, you grow in character and disagreements do not turn into blow outs. May you both nurture the love you have for one another, forgive each other and work together to strengthen your bond so that your marriage can withstand the challenges and storms of life. Please do not give up – all of us will be praying for and with you.
