Dear Lord, I come to you tonight and ask for as much prayer as I can right now for my marriage. I humbly admit I have been a bad husband for long enough and will do anything to prove my love to my wife. She is open to reconciling and is giving me the chance but the hurts and the past keep trying to get in the way. I pray for you to touch her heart and to allow me the chance to regain her heart again and never ever let it go again! I also pray for your guidance and wisdom as her husband to do my Godly duty as a husband and have the chance again to call her my love, my wife and have it be returned back from her as well. I ask for this prayer in Jesus name, Amen.
Amen! Standing in the gap for your marriage and praying for your request of oneness with your wife to be granted this year.
Please pray for my marriage to be reconciled once my husband and I are the people God designed us to be. Also, pray for my husband to forgive me of an affair I had. He is bitter and angry at me and God. I am committed to saving my marriage. I ask for prayers to keep me standing and for my husband to be healed of the pain I caused him. He is a good man and I pray for him daily. Thank you for your prayers.
Praying that neither of you give up or become overburdened with the pain and hardships of past mistakes, but keep pressing forward. Praising God that the spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation is present and that the two of you continue to allow God to lead and guide you. Hang in there, your marriage is changing for the better each day!
Father in Heaven I come to you tonight lifiting up my Husband, Alboin, who is not nice to me and who does not treat me like a wife. Like taking me out for dinner or other functions. He’s very headstrong and does not like to listen and will have the last word. I am so hurt over this and I would like for you to please pray for me.
Praying for you and your husband to be able to love each other completely and fully so that you both feel loved and appreciated. Praying for whatever obstacles, negative thoughts or past behaviors are relinquished and replaced with love, joy, peace, kindness and goodwill towards one another. Praying that you will serve each other, encourage each other and grow in intimacy.
This morning my wife told me she is going to move out. She has started looking at places to go. Praise God that she wants to stay close so we can take turns having the children, but I would rather have a happy marriage sharing the children 100% of the time than only see them 50% of the time.
My wife still won’t come to counseling. She thinks it is only for dealing with small matters and I can’t convince her otherwise. She said she never really had feelings of love for me. I have old love notes and photos that make me think hurt, pain or the enemy are blinding her to the past. She says there is no foundation to our marriage. I said the foundation is our covenant and living in obedience to God.
I asked her to start again making a new foundation, but she said no. I am in despair. My wife needs healing from the past hurts of my long term neglect trapped by the demands of work.
Please heal my wife, Lord. Please carry on changing me. Please make Katie whole and help her and all of us. Please take away this bitter cup Lord. Please help all those who cry out here Lord. Help us Lord!
Andrew, we’re still praying for Katie, you and your marriage. Praying that Katie’s heart is softened and that you continue to love and treat her the way she desires. Also praying that if you know other men who are working so hard to provide for their family, that they’re actually neglecting their family that you will encourage them to make more time for their family.
My wife has agreed to attend a counseling session tomorrow. Please Lord, please use this time to help Kate heal. Please help us to communicate better and to clear any misunderstandings, frustrations and differences. Please reconcile us, pour your abundant love, peace and joy into our marriage.
Save our relationship and protect our poor children and us from the hurts that will surely flow from disobeying your Word and breaking our covenant. Please let Kate see my love for her, my desire to please her and live in happiness with her are greater than any other mans.
Please let her feel my love is worth having. Please let her see that earthly divorce is not real and not worth having and that we will always in this life be married in God’s sight. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Please Lord help my husband find me sexually attractive. We have a young daughter and we are only in our 30’s ourselves but we have not been physically intimate in over a year. I love my husband more than ever and I miss him. I know he loves me but I need him physically and emotionally. Please Lord, help us.
Praying for the levels of intimacy and sexual desire to increase in your marriage and that you only have eyes for each other.
I humbly come before God and this group of believers to request prayer support and intercession for our marriage.
I pray that God would help me to love my husband with God’s love – help me to be supporting, uplifting, encouraging and life-giving. I surrender my flaws and weaknesses and lay them at God’s feet. May I be a wife that builds up my husband – I don’t want to tear him down. I don’t want to fight… I love him so very much. I ask for forgiveness when I’ve been critical or when I’ve failed to put myself in his shoes. Help me, Oh God, to be considerate, patient and kind in all situations. Help me know when to speak and when to be quiet. Give me wisdom in knowing ways I can support him and wisdom in knowing when to simply be okay with silence. I claim James 1:5 – “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” I want to be a wise wife that helps builds our home. I want to edify my husband. Father God, please help me learn and know how to do that.
I lift up my husband in prayer… God, please heal the deep hurts and disappointments he carries around. Please soften his heart and make it open to receive God’s love and direction. Heal him from the abuse he experienced as a child. Please give him a deep and unshakable purpose, from You. Help him open his heart to You and to connect and have a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Please minister to Him in a way that only you can – with that still small voice – please make him sensitive to hear it.
Please bring strong Christian role models and friends across his path to minister to him. It’s so much change for him moving to Canada: new country, new language, new traditions, no friends, no family… it’s all so overwhelming. Please help him know that he is a good father and feel secure in that, despite circumstances that would make him doubt or struggle with feelings of failure. Please help him value our marriage and see it as more than just a piece of paper, but renew that deep sense of commitment and love. Please give him the heart and courage to stay even though everything feels beyond his control in this moment.
I pray a hedge of protection around our marriage. Protect us from division and temptation, anything that would try to tear us apart or make us feel like giving up. Please breathe new life, hope and restoration into our marriage. Please give peace and wisdom in every car ride, every meal, every conversation or moment of silence in our home and spaces in which we interact. Please do a miracle as only You can do.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. Standing in full agreement with you and will be praying with you.
Thank you for standing in agreement with me in prayer Melodee.
Dear Lord, I come to you tonight and ask for a serious prayer on my marriage. My husband has had an affair and a child is about to be born. Lord I’m in so much pain, and anger. I tried to do wrong for wrong but it’s not right. Forgive Me Lord. I am committed to saving my marriage! LORD PLEASE help me to be supporting, uplifting, encouraging and life-giving. LORD I’M STARTING TO LOSING FAITH. I LOVE MY HUSBAND DEARLY. I’M HURT; I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. IN YOUR NAME FATHER I PRAY, AMEN!!!
Praying that you continue to trust God and don’t give up hope – that you are able to see God’s blessing in the midst of what’s chaotic – letting Him assuage your pain, anger and disappointment. Praying that as you and your husband deal with his infidelity and the changes that will come from the baby, you are able to grow closer and assist in raising this child without any hang ups. Also praying that your husband is supportive of your journey to make sense of this and become the wife you and God desire you to be. Along with your husband accepting responsibility for his actions, setting appropriate boundaries and making the changes he needs to make. Praying for the two of you to pull together and turn this into a blessing.
Dear Ashlee, I can’t imagine what you are going through. May God be your strength. I pray even as you go through this storm that you grieve the process and do not remove your eyes from the cross.
Please pray that God will heal our marriage and bring my husband home. He claims he still loves me yet choses to live in a separate apartment, which has caused many problems. Thank you.
Praying for the two of you to come together, honestly and openly talk about the issues and concerns that are creating a rift, work through them and live as one in one home.
Dear Lord, I pray for reconciliation and restoration of my marriage. I pray my husband’s heart is softened towards me and he is able to forgive me and see and believe the changes you have been making in me. Lord, please let us find love and happiness with each other again and become stronger than we have ever been. Amen.
Praying with you for the restoration of your marriage and that the two of you honor God with your lives and marriage.
PRAY FOR PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING WISDOM IN MY MARRIAGE — 20 YEARS AND THE DEVIL JUST CAN’T STOP.
Praying that the two of you stand firm on the word of God and fight the attacks of the enemy as a team.
Please pray for my brother Michael’s marriage to Suzanne.
Praying that they make Christ their foundation and that their lives and marriage honor Him.
Lord, ignite Your living word over my marriage. Resurrect my dead marriage as Your word says in Ezekiel 37, May Your breath bring Jeff and I back together again. Give Jeff a teachable heart. Genesis 2:24: May he fully understand order and Your perfect will for him to leave his parents and cleave to his wife. Marriage is to be honored. May we both reflect who You are Lord. Bless us with a great testimony. And May You receive All the glory! In Jesus mighty name I ask. Amen!
Amen!
Please pray for my wife Ann not to go through with divorcing me. I do not want a divorce. May God give Ann a fresh new love for me as her husband friend and father to our children. And for May Ann have a desire for me to be her man. We need a miracle for marriage restoration.
Praying for your and Ann’s marriage to be renewed and refreshed with an outpouring of love, kindness, joy and peace- praying that the two of you work together to strengthen your bond and walk as one in victory.
Lord have mercy. My husband recently declared that he was done with everything and wants to start making decisions that he wants and doesn’t care about the rest of us. He apparently hasn’t been happy for a long time and has fooled me, our kids and family. He says that if he stays our marriage will be financial and for appearances only and not one of intimacy or companionship. My heart is broken in so many ways. I have fought for our marriage before and will continue to do so because our marriage is worth it.
I know that I am to blame for part of the disconnect as I ignored or attributed all the signs to him being busy at work, my health issues and just plain old stress. While he hasn’t actually left yet, I feel like there is a time bomb ticking away and I am fighting to keep my head up and not break down. Please join with me in prayer for my marriage. Thank you
Praying with you for your marriage- praying that the most important aspect becomes honoring God. Praying that the two of you will honestly talk and work through your obstacles as a team- reconnect and grow in intimacy and love for one another. Praying that your marriage is a blessing and not a burden and that the two of you fight against the enemy together.
I am asking for prayer for my cousin’s marriage. I pray for God to step into this situation, for God to allow them to remove any pride and rekindle the love they have for each other along with removing any hurt and allow them to be the husband and wife that God designed. Divorce isn’t one of God’s promises so I am standing on his word.
Amen! Praying that they do not consider divorce as an option, but trust a God and dig deep to make their marriage work.
