I seek your prayer for God’s healing of my marriage. I have been married for 27 years but have been with my wife for 33 years. During the last 3 years my wife – Stephanie has been experiencing menopause and what appears to be a midlife crisis. Stephanie keeps telling me that she wants her freedom and independence and that she is searching for something, although she doesn’t know what and continues to tell me that she feels as if she is going crazy. She told me that she was mad at God and doesn’t know why, which explains why she has not attended church with me for the last year.
My marriage has been on the brink of disaster for those last 3 years, which have been the worst 3 years of my life. I love my wife with all of my heart but I do not believe that she feels the same about me anymore. I desperately want to stay in my marriage and would be lost without my dear wife. I ask for your prayers that my wife finds whatever she is seeking and that it hopefully includes me. However, I know that all things work for His good and I will be alright with which ever path God sends me.
I desperately ask God to restore my marriage and bring us both joy, peace and love!! I also pray that God restore my wife’s body, mind and soul back to that wonderful and beautiful girl from years ago.
I do have hope because while on my drive to attend church this past Sunday morning and praying for God to fix my marriage, I heard Phil Wickham’s song “Battle Belongs” where God reminded me that I all I have to do is to trust Him and God will fight my battle for me. Please pray for my marriage! Respectfully, Jorge
Praying that Stephanie will recognize that nothing in her life will be right until she allows God to take control of her life and opens her heart back up to him. Praying that as she rights her relationship with God, her first love, she will also reassure you of her love for you. May nothing be wasted, but restored and even better than before so that God gets the glory and you both reap the blessings of being His children.
Thank you and it brings tears to my eyes that someone I do not personally know would pray for us. God bless.
You’re more than welcome – God loves you and Stephanie so much that more people than you know are praying for you two.
Please pray for my marriage. I recently found my husband has been using Kratom. He “has to” have it everyday. He is edgy and extremely short tempered. It’s effecting my marriage and my children. Please pray for my husbands salvation and that he would be come a GOD Fearing/Loving man. Please pray for his transformation.
Praying that your husband will seek help before he before he develops an opioid addiction and/or his use worsens. May he trust God for deliverance, but actively do what is necessary to kick the habit. Also praying for the safety, health and well-being of you and the kids… and if it comes down to it, may you make the best decisions that will keep you and your children safe until your husband has taken the necessary steps and demonstrates he is no longer depending on this drug. Trusting and believing God that you will continue to persevere through this and come out stronger and better when this season is over.
My husband David wants a divorce and moved out. This is very recent but we have been in numerous marriage crisis’s and I feel this is the final round. We both have trust issues and he’s avoiding me. He has threatened divorce more times than I can count, has left the house without return numerous times, given silent treatment that can go on for days while he is away. It’s just so painful. I pray God to reconcile us but I can’t stand the poor communication where I don’t have a voice in this marriage. I just need help and wisdom to navigate through this. I weep because I’m losing hope.
Praying that you will continue to trust God and allow Him to complete you; may you also work on your part of making yourself whole – may your relationship with Christ grow deeper/stronger, you seek counseling for your trust issues and may your husband too, seek God and work on his issues in counseling. I pray that as the two of you put in the work to heal your past wounds, you find that you are in a better position to make your marriage work and honor God.
Praying for reconciliation and restoration of my marriage. My spouse’s heart is hardened and she will not speak or talk with me. I have tried to express my desire to stay married and not seek divorce; however, she has stated she would ask for forgiveness at the gates of heaven before coming back into the marriage.
I have repented and asked for forgiveness of the things she shared led her to her decision. My heart breaks because I now see how she experienced a thousand little cuts each day in our marriage due to my behavior. I am grateful she has forgiven me, but I want to be in a loving committed relationship with her.
Please pray her heart is softened and she is receptive to reconciling and being in a committed relationship.
Praying that as you and your wife work through your concerns and fight against the attacks of the enemy- you will both heed God’s leading and tugs at your heart and make decisions that honor Him and bring you into closer relationship with Him. As your relationships with Him deepen, may you find your other relationships thrive and prosper as well.
My husband and I are going to counseling but I need something more! He shut down Saturday at 5pm and it’s Monday almost 11a.m. And still not a word. He left Saturday evening and came back some time in the night and has slept ever since. He’s literally still in the bed right now. He does this over and over and over and I’m not even hurt this time or the last time. I’m thinking it’s time to move out and just be apart from this kind of behavior and treatment! Life is way too short for this to be happening and especially right now. We lost a family member this week in a tragic and horrific car accident and yet he still has the mindset to be petty during this time.
Praying that you won’t give up … that you will wait to see if counseling really does help – especially now when you’re both grieving for your loved one. Continue to trust God with the process and let Him and not your emotions guide you. This temporary pain may all be worth it in a few months, even moreso in a year or a couple of years down the road when your marriage is back on track and you can imagine growing old together and the laughter of your grandchildren. It’s a process and with God, you can make it – you both have to be all in. Don’t give up before you give your all!
Please continue to pray for my marriage. I have asked for my wife’s forgiveness but she has continued to hold onto all the hurts I have caused her and has not forgiven me. I never intended to hurt her and possibly lose her. While I believed I was just being a responsible adult and allowed all of life’s stressors (work, parenting, elderly parents, financial, relationship issues with my wife) to accumulate in my life, I lost my joy and became a very negative person and treated my wife in a lessor manner than what she deserves.
My wife has told me that she loves me but is not in love with me, which absolutely broke my heart since I love my wife with all of my heart. We have had arguments where she has repeatedly told me over the years that she wants a divorce but divorce is not an option I will consider. Please pray that God allows her to forgive me and that she turns back to the Lord and that our marriage becomes better than we could ever imagine.
Still praying for you and Stephanie – praying that you both will allow God to work on you as individuals and as one unit do that your marriage can be revived and thrive. Continue to hope and trust God for the best outcome. Don’t give up!
God to lead and strengthen me in the most difficult times in my marriage. My husband is blaming me for his infidelities, lies and constant arguments. Not showing any remorse and any misunderstanding between us end up with name calling and verbal insults from him and I sometimes give in to my flesh and insult him back. God help me, I have 2 young children and don’t believe in divorce but I don’t know what to do. Please pray for God to work on me, the pain, bitterness and depression.
Praying that you will not internalize the lies of the enemy that your husband is telling you- he is being used. Praying that you continue to trust God and let Him give you peace in your decision making process. Keep in mind that it is not God’s will for you to subject you or your children to any form of abuse and you cannot have a marriage until your husband truly repents. Let God have His way and don’t rush the process.
Please God, Bless my acquaintance with Rebecca according to your perfect will. If it is your will that she will be my future wife, open the doors with her for that and facilitate our way together. If it is not your will that we will be a married couple please send me the assigned one from your hand. I want your perfect will to be done in my life. You said it is not good for man to be alone. So, please Lord open the door for the marriage for me. I know that you are preparing good and great things in my life and in ministry and in my journey with you on this earth. Facilitate my way in this issue, please Lord. I want to build a family according to your perfect will. I am praying in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen. – Isaac
Amen…praying that is is God’s will for you to marry Rebecca, but if not – He will bless you with a bride that exceeds your expectations and aids you in fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.
My husband says he wants a divorce. He’s tired of being married. He’s a believer. We’re under a lot of stress in life now (finances, mental, health) and this is being added to it. I have no clue how long he’s felt this way. It’s obvious it’s been a long time through his progressive actions and attitude. I’ve forgiven his adultery in the past. I know he’s not perfect but I’m willing to work at our marriage and life. But working at things in life has never been his strong area. I want God to strengthen his relationship with Him. And mine. I want God to draw His heart to Him and His will. I want God to give him stamina in this battle we face in life right now. And to give me wisdom and guidance. And to keep our family and marriage together.
Praying for others. And thank you to all who pray. Keep pushing towards the mark! 💜😀 God bless!
Praying that you continue to experience God’s faithfulness and that you both stand on His promises. Praying that your husband will seek God with all his heart and let His love flow through him so that he is able to love you and remain committed to your marriage. Also praying that you continue to forgive and trust God to brief you both through this trying season – may you both experience more of His presence and blessings and find that your marriage is a blessing and worth fighting for.
Help me pray that my husband seeks the Lord, reads His word and finds His will for our life. Please help me pray for healing in my family. My husband wants a divorce due to longterm illness (me and one of our daughters). Pray for healing in both body and soul. Pray for a new empathy, understanding and compassion. Pray that my husband gets faith that God has a better plan for us than divorce.
Praying that your husband recognizes that he cannot run away from his weariness, but renews his faith and hope in God and is given the ability to persevere and trust God with your future. May you all find your friends and family to be supportive and provide the compassion and empathy all of you need. Let him see divorce robs you of your future blessings and that this is just a season…praying that you all find joy in each day and experience more love, joy and peace.
For physical healing, for finances, and for revival.
Praying that God continues to meet your needs and will exceed your expectations.
Please pray for the restoration of my marriage and reconciliation with my wife. Every time I think things can’t get worse, they get worse. Things that should be done jointly are done separately and misunderstood. Everything meant for good is taken as wrong. Every scriptural issue is interpreted differently and becomes a bone of contention. I know God hates divorce. I want to keep my marriage and my family together, in peace, unity and happiness. I know God can do the impossible. I keep praying He will. I love my wife and I love our children.
Trusting God to do the impossible …praying that Kate will respond to God pulling on her heart and let the Holy Spirit rule over her life. May she come back to the truths of the gospel and live as the woman of God she was created to be. Praying that none of you give up hope and are soon able to live as a family under one roof once again.
Dear Lord God, thank you for Melodee and her unceasing support for everyone here.
We groan in pain and hurt and anguish. Please help us Lord.
Please pray for my marriage and family. Our marriage has been up and down for a few years and my husband has recently been unfaithful. I do not want my marriage to end. I think my husband has given up hope that our marriage can be saved and changed. God is the only one that can help us. Please pray that God will restore our marriage and heal our family. Please pray that God will be at the center of our marriage and family for which love, forgiveness, compassion and communication will flow.
May God give you what you requested in the name of Jesus.
Prayers that God continues to cover you with protection and give you strength as you follow his path. Keep your faith as God is always faithful.
I’m requesting a prayer concerning my family, finances and also for God to give me strength this time of mourning my wife. I know with yours & my prayer God will do something.
Praying that you will experience more peace and comfort as you adjust to living without your wife here on earth. Praying that as you honor her and your love over the next season you and your family grow closer to God and each other.
I am “Austin Jeba”, from India, I love “Princy Priscilla”. We both were Christians. But we have some problems in marriage. Please pray for us to get married to each other soon.
Praying that both of you will trust and seek God and that everything works out as you desire and if it doesn’t, you trust that God has a better plan or timeline.
Please uphold us in prayer! I love my wife of 19 years and two young teenage children. We are both 50 now. We’ve had some rough times and some blessings. The Lord has been refining me as I’ve had a lot of need for change. I’ve had some debilitating health issues. It’s strained our marriage. I imagine menopause has added to her struggles. It’s been a month since she filed divorce and moved out. I keep trying to be kind and show love. It’s heartbreaking to not be able to discuss this with her. I believe she has some bad counsel and friends that is contrary to God’s word. Court in less than a week. God, please intervene how you see best. Protect what you have joined together.
Praying that your wife will honor God and let Him direct her, that she will recognize her need and desire to fight for your marriage and not move forward with the divorce. Also praying that the two of you will be able to come together and discuss your issues/concerns with one another and work through them. May you continue to trust God for the best outcome and know that no matter what He loves you and will not leave you alone in this battle.
Still fighting g for my Marriage after my wife filed for divorce. Now after court starts dividing usI see people near her encouraging an unbiblical divorce. I see evidence my wife is convicted but still not open to talk. Resisting Gods Spirit in her. I’m praying somehow for intervention I can not do it myself. God, I need your help.
Adding our prayers to yours. May your wife respond to God and let His love guide her.
