I will send a card with a message from my heart in it at least once a week…
My fiancé and I are from different countries and he is awaiting his visa at the moment. It has been two years since we became a couple so I understand the long distance relationship pretty well. There are several things we do…talk on Skype…send handwritten letters, and pray over the phone…that’s the best! But if you are looking for a unique idea I would suggest burning a cd and sending it over. We pick love songs that say how we feel than the other person can play it when they are feeling lonely. I love all the ones he has sent me and vice versa….we will use the music as the soundtrack for our wedding. It is very personal and I highly recommend giving it a try!
