As you look to posting your requests:
Please observe the following guidelines for your prayer request:
• THIS IS NOT THE FORMAT TO ASK QUESTIONS OR OBTAIN ADVICE. This is for prayer requests and prayers ONLY. Please find another article in which to post your comments and questions on this web site for that type of interaction.
• Make each prayer request marriage-related. They can be exclusively for your marriage, and/or for the marriages of others.
Also:
• Don’t give last names or contact info of those to be prayed for. It’s important to protect each other’s privacy. First names are sufficient.
• Make your requests brief (500 characters or less), if possible.
Keep in Mind:
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18)
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!” (1 Chronicles 16:11)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6)
And if you feel led:
• Please join us in praying for other posted marriage requests. We all need prayer at different times in our marriages.
“…Pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)
PLEASE NOTE:
We review all prayer requests before posting them to reduce spam and offensive content.
Thank you for praying for us. My eldest son remarried 2 years ago. Split is wrought with tensions between him, his ex wife and his new wife, mainly about money. The good news is his 2 kids are well-adjusted and accepting of this new situation. His new wife has a 14 year old daughter who had been feeling abandoned by her biological father who is a heroin addict. She has admitted having sex with a boyfriend and when my son sets down house rules, she says things like “You’re not my Dad” “I hate you” and “You took my Mom away from me.” My son is 42 and is on blood pressure medicine. I am very worried about him and would appreciate prayers for him from Godly people. Thank you so much. I am grateful for ministries like yours who provide a place to be heard w/o being judged. May God Bless You. Linda
We are an intercultural couple who have a son. We are not married. We love each other but we don’t hold any family values and there is an underlying disregard for the relationship. We need to understand each other’s differences for our son’s sake. I pray that we can reach each other on the same level and always use love to guide our decisions.
Please pray for the restoration of my marriage and for my husband to have a change of heart and decide to work on us. Dillon dropped the bomb May 14Th, saying he didn’t love me, that he guessed he doesn’t know how to love. He said there wasn’t another woman (there is). I would ask that you pray for his feelings for her to diminish, fade, or just go away completely and that he will see home is where he needs to be. Thank you All.
Hi, I was facing the same problems, all that you explained. But I took my stand in prayers now on my own and I’m awaiting the Lord to send me a lifetime wife.
I am from Liberia in West Africa; I have one daughter and she is always telling me to see her mother, the person I will marry. Can you stand with me in prayers that this could happen in my life –a marriage again?
Please pray for my marriage. I have just discovered my wife is having an affair with her boss.
My wife is having an affair with her boss.
I pray for my marriage, that God may help us stand together. We have just gone through a grief stricken phase of losing a parent and my husband is really low. Pray for us to have financial wisdom, as well, so that we are not sunk in debt in our marriage. God has blessed us with a beautiful boy and I know He will carry us through to give him a God fearing bright future. Thank you.
I have been married for less than six months. Our relationship has slowly eroded away this past year, with lots of fights and bad communication. My wife is ready to divorce me and not consider marital counseling.
Hello, On April 13th I married the man of my dreams. On April 13th 2014 I came home and my husband tells me he’s done. He moves his children in with his girlfriend, then a few days later he moves in with her also. I love my husband deeply. What can I do to save our marriage? My husband will not talk to me on phone. He will not give me his cell phone number. Please help.
Hi, Life is before you. When you are a child you look at the hill and you call it mountain and when you grow up to go back to the same hill and find out that it was only a hill all along. It is not a mountain.
My wife and I are separated and have been for 18 months of the 3 years we have been married. We have no kids together but 7 combined from previous marriages.
I have been a believer for many years and she was new in her walk when we got married. We did premarital counseling and she committed to some things that she later changed her mind on in the areas of guidelines with the children and the household.
Our counselors won’t see us until she starts doing what they are telling us to do and not what her feelings tell her, which are heavily impacted by some unhealthy issues from her previous marriage. Please pray that The Lord will give me patience to wait and help her trust His word to be obedient in the marriage. Thank you.
Please pray for the restoration of our marriage and family! Please pray for my strength to make it through this. I need to be held by my God and I am out of people to run to. God please hear my cries and wipe away my tears.
My husband was having an affair with a woman who joined his firm in Sydney in 2011. She approached him for a position in his unit and it all started from there. She was sacked a year later. My husband and I subsequently went on secondment overseas, and have recently returned. Unbeknownst to me, they were conducting an affair over the years during so called “business trips” at the expense of the firms they were working at.
My husband has recently left. He has turned his back on the faith and his family. He is no longer the decent man of integrity I had married, and has become corrupt in character and soul. Please pray for God to move on them to open the eyes of their heart and spirit – and to truly see who they are and what they are doing, and come to repentance.
Hi, My wife, Tamara, & I have been separated since November last year. I still don’t want a divorce. She says she wants a divorce but is not making it happen. I feel like she wants to stay married without having the actual marriage in place. I have been patient with her but more days are bad than are good. I am not financially stable and this is the reason why we are where we are. I want us to follow God’s Word; she’s only interested in money, always telling me to make a plan to which I have made myself very clear I will not do anything illegal or unGodly for her or anyone else. I have peace and I’m content, which utterly angers her. She has put herself between our children and me. I cannot contact them without going thru her and just the thought of calling them is something I so dread because of their mother. We have two daughters together 3 & 5 & 2 sons from her previous marriage 11 & 12. My prayer for us is Psalm 51:10-13. Thank you and bless you and your ministry in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
Please help my husband to honor his commitment and values as he was brought up and the numerous times he used the same advice on family and friends. Give him the strength to stop dancing with the Devil. Give him the wisdom to know how to fix his family and marriage.
My prayer is to have my marriage better and stronger than ever. Me and my wife decided to take a break for a week to get our thoughts together. This upcoming weekend she will be seeing someone she likes. We have talked and she has told me that she still wants to be with me. This in my second marriage and her first. We have 2 children together. My prayer is that we come back together and be stronger and never have to go through this again. I love my wife and I am giving her her space, as she asked. I just don’t want to end up hurt. I really do love her and this process hurts me daily. God, I am trusting you to see my way through.
I have separated with my husband of 4 years. I have always been saying that I can’t forgive him again, but after I have been reading your post. I have seen my lapses and what I should have done to get him. Just want you to help me pray to get him again and love him more than before and to have the patience.
