Pray for love, unity, understanding, fear of the Lord & restoration of my marriage. My husband is abusing me verbally and he wants me to go 50% with him financially on the responsibilities of our home irrespective of my little salary, compared to his. He refuses to go to counseling. He fabricates stories that are not there against me. Every time we have an argument he wants a divorce.
I need God to deliver my husband from the spirit of womanizing, lying and self centeredness. I want God to bless my home making it fruitful and a blessing to other people that are having one problem or the other in their marriages. I need God to give my husband the spirit to understand and know that what he is doing is wrong. And I want God to change me and give me a forgiving heart to forgive my husband.
HELP… I’m so desperate for a solution to my marital problem! I’m only asking for your prayers. I have been common law married for over a year to my high school sweetheart. We just reunited after her husband passed away in 2010. This is the problem: she was sexually abused by her father as a child up until her teen years (many). She barely gives me affection or any real love; it’s mostly words, and physical relationship almost never. I’m in a hopeless situation and am on the verge of moving out! The sad thing is I love her, but nothing I do to help heal her past works… hopeless… please pray for us… thank you and God bless!
God, I pray that Hillery will be filled with compassion and love for this woman. Please help her heal emotionally from her wounds. Fill the home with peace.
Pray for my marriage that separation ends. That our relationship gets stronger. Pray for my children as well that our family comes out of this strong.
Hi, I was married before and now want to remarry. I am a Christian, African black, and I have one daughter that presently lives with me. Every day she is asking me when I will bring her mother in… the woman I will marry. I tell her that God will surely send a lady that I will marry and a mother for you, and we all will live again a happy life.
Can you please stand with me in prayer for a my wife? I have not seen her but God has eyes watching and he will bring that special person to me and my daughter.
I’ve hurt my wife with words over a period of time. She stopped telling me and just held it in until one day she shut completely down. Now I must repair the damage and try and fix our lives… please pray that she can find it in her heart to forgive and try again and that I may learn from my mistakes and love her properly and in a way she deserves.
Praying for renewal of my marriage of 18 years. My wife wants out, I do not want out. I am committed and there has not been any Biblical reason on either part for divorce. She has filed but we still see each other and have a 13 year old daughter. I believe there is hope, nothing is impossible with God. Pray God will show me how to be the husband she wants and needs and that she will have the grace to forgive old hurts and that our marriage will be built on Christ.
Thanks for your prayers! I’ve been & will continue to pray for all others, as well. God makes all things for good for those who trust & believe in him!
Please pray for my marriage. My husband, Jay, had a lengthy affair with one of his patients, and married her (this can’t be valid, since we’re still married) during our separation. We’ve been married for almost 16 years now. We’re back together-almost two years now, but we don’t have sex -he just doesn’t have an interest. I just hope the other woman is out of the picture. I think she is out, but not entirely sure. I really love Jay and pray that our relationship will get stronger and more passionate, like I want. Thank you for any prayers!
I pray for myself and husband that we can reconnect like before. I pray that we can improve on our communication lines. I ask Lord, to forgive me at times. I am a control freak and utter bad things, including divorce. I submit to you Lord, to restore my marriage; where there is hurt heal us, where there is mistrust give us hope, and to trust to each other. Forgive me for wanting to have an extra marital affair, thinking my husband does not love or care for me.
Help him to improve on the distance that he has put on our marriage and Lord guide us in the right direction, in order to make good choices and decisions. I pray that you make us good parents to our children. You renewed our love for each other. Help us to practice our vows we made on the 07.10.2006 to become a reality. I submit these in Your Mighty name,
Amen.
I need prayer for understanding, clarity, and guidance. I’ve been married for only 9 months. 3 months into our marriage I found out my husband was addicted to gambling. I’ve forgiven him over and over throughout these months only to receive lies, lies, and more lies. I’ve lost everything we have been paying for or owned. I’m disappointed, loveless, and have lost love, respect, and trust in him. I tried to continue the marriage and start with a clean slate only to receive the same outcome. He doesn’t admit or believe he has a problem so I finally had to ask him for a separation. After the separation he doesn’t make an effort to contact me or see me. I feel like there is no hope in our marriage any longer… I feel deceived, angry, and feel like not being a part of this marriage anymore. I’m fearful of how it could get worst, and he doesn’t show any remorse, guilt, or forgiveness. He hasn’t even apologized. I don’t know how to continue in a relationship that I’m holding on to alone.
Father, please honor our family by giving my husband ears to hear, eyes to see and a heart open to receive Your perfect love for him. Help him to forgive himself for our financial struggles and bring prosperity so that we may give you all the glory. Be his heart’s desire, Jesus, as You are mine. Amen
Father Lord, guide me with your utmost love and affection. Connect me Lord to this one son of yours who also had suffered genuinely the lost of his spouse like me and needs a good companion for life too. A person of great fear of God and good family tree/background/value systems. Oh Lord restore my joy and that of my children, In Jesus Name.
Beautiful prayer.
Please pray for the Lord to work in my life of my wife. Pray specifically that God will help me to love my wife in an understanding, considerate way (1 Peter 3:7) – in a manner that will cause her to grow closer to Christ (Ephesians 5:25-33). My wife suffers from clinical depression, which often causes her to struggle with anxiety as well; she takes Prozac for her depression and sleeps a lot. My wife and I are involved in our home church, but she doesn’t seek to build close friendships at our church. God has blessed us with a strong marriage; we pray together every day and we’re in His Word often. Please pray that God will set my wife free from her depression, anxiety, build strong friendships into her life at our church, and help both of us to delight in His Word. Thank you.
Lord I am so hurt and lonely since my husband left me for another woman. I have been fasting, praying, and believing for 27 months. Lord I believe you will heal and restore us for all your glory.
