Requesting prayer for my husband Shanne to control his anger and please also pray for me so I can understand him and so I don’t anger him. Thank you
Praying that your husband seeks God to deal with the underlying issue of what provoked his anger (and it’s not you!!!). May he seek counseling and utilize the appropriate resources/tools to control his emotional responses. May you use wisdom and discernment in your approach to him and not stay/put yourself in an abusive situation. Praying that you both trust and submit to God and see the changes He makes in both of you that the two of you can live as one and in peace.
Hello, I have been married 26 years, and separated for 7 months. I am trusting God to completely heal and restore my marriage. I do not want a divorce, and there is hope. Please pray for me and my husband. Thank you.
Praying for the restoration of your marriage and a renewed commitment by both of you to strengthen your bond, create new memories and live lives that honor God and each other.
My wife has left with my two children and took them to her moms. I just recently found this website in hopes to learn about me and my wife to fix our marriage and have her return and both make a commitment to God for our family and our children. We’ve had some issues for a while but my job kept me from seeing the damage I was causing. Clearly as a sole provider she took the task of holding the home together alone. I had no idea till a few days ago this website existed I am glad I found it as it applies so much to my needs right now and plan for a church based counseling should she want to try.
My prayer request is to allow both of us to come together find us again for a better marriage and allow our children to be raised in the home of both of us, to heal our wounds and have a path to a happy future for her and everyone around us. I have always loved her. Can I get another prayer too for my mother who had a biopsy of her glands? I pray its not cancer.
Praying that you and your wife do not give up on your marriage, but trust God and let Him lead you in the rebuilding of your bond. May you two seek counseling and get the support you need to make your marriage better. Also praying that both of you will grow in your relationship with Christ, raise your children in a Christian home and be a blessing to all you come on contact with. We’re also praying for your mom and that all goes well with her and her health.
Please pray for marital restoration for Todd and Megan. Please intercede in prayer for victory over demonic influence, oppression and bitterness. Please agree that God’s will for our covenant relationship with him to not be broken stands and that he fills us with his love and peace. Please pray for healing for Megan and that God will fill her with love, comfort and direction. Please agree that we subject our will to his perfect will.
Praying that both of you will submit to God and live out His will- that your hearts will soften and you’ll both extend grace and mercy to each other. That you’ll trust Him and let Him heal you of past hurts/wrongs and work together to resolve your issues/differences. That both of you will be committed to strengthening your bond and do all you can to have a wonderful marriage.
I would like prayer for a Godly marriage. I am believing God to send the man he has for me, for us to date to start the process, for our marriage to be divinely created by God, for us to love each other for who we are, and that we will have joy laughter, unity, passion in our marriage.
Praying that you do not grow weary waiting on the husband God has for you, but continue to fully live your life and fulfill the purposes God has put on your heart and Spirit. Praying that as you are engaged in your day to day living, you will meet, date and marry the man God has for you and together- you’ll have a blessed marriage that blesses others.
Pray for my marriage, and pray for liberation. I have dreams where the enemy is angered when I pray for my husband. I know my marriage is under attack from witchcraft because I have a dream with one witch. Please, I need people to pray for me, Yhamile and Anthony because now my husband wants to divorce me. Pray to God to do a miracle in my marriage and for my husband to dismiss the divorce case in the court. Thank you.
Praying that both of you will diligently seek the Lord and let Him guide you in your decisions and be obedient to how He is leading you. May you both realize the love you still have for each other and do all you can to preserve it and not consider divorce as the answer to what you’re facing. Praying that both of you will grow in your faith, openly communicate with each other and extend grace so that you can find ways to connect and strengthen your bond. May you both come through this season of trials better and stronger.
My husband Pieter left me last year 2nd Nov. He sent divorce papers and wants my pension. My attorney said we wants his bank statements and me and him must go for counseling. My husband and I have 30 years of marriage. I pray every day God will sent my husband back to me. I still love him and want him back to me; it is now months. I know with God nothing is impossible. I am staying in Gauteng and him in Polokwane. I was hoping he’d come back; it is my husband’s birthday. My husband doesn’t talk to me; he ignores me. I am forgiving him already.
Praying that you will not give up on your husband or your marriage, that you will take advantage of the counseling. Praying that he will have a change of heart and submit to God and commit to working things out with you in counseling and doing all he can to strengthen your bond. May your marital bond grow stronger as you both grow in faith and honor God – may your love grow and prosper and the idea of divorcing becomes a thing of the past never to be mentioned again.
Please pray for Kendra and Eric. Their marriage has been hard in the past year. Eric is in the Military so they moved somewhere and neither of them seems happy. He has become closed up and distant over the past year, and in her loneliness, Kendra looked for a friend. She had an online affair and Eric discovered it. Now he is telling her he can no longer trust her and wants a divorce.
Please help pray for a change in his heart to give her a second chance, and for them to come back together. The devastation this is causing to both of them is heartbreaking as they are so much better together. Please keep them in your prayers. Thank you.
Praying that Kendra has ended her affair/friendship and has repented and that Eric will forgive her. Also praying that neither will give up on their marriage, but will seek counseling and find the support they need to come together and work through their communication issues and bond together. May they too see that they are better together and love covers a multitude of sins.
Requesting prayer for my husband and our marriage. We have been separated now for 8 mths because of his addictions and other immoral acts. He has not always been this way. This all started about 10 years ago, with alcohol, and him disappearing for days or weeks at a time, and then it became drugs. There has been so much pain in this marriage, for us both.
He struggles with pain and trauma and deals with it by using some way of numbing it, but satan has turned his heart to stone. He has no care or concern for me any more. I feel no love from him, rarely hear from him, rarely see him, and my heart is broken. We have been married for nearly 19 years and for the first 9 it was great. But now it’s a roller coaster ride of pain, uncertainty, heartbreak, struggle, and tears. My heart hurts so bad for him and for us.
Please pray that the blindness be lifted from his eyes, his stony heart to be changed and for God to open his heart to me with a fresh new love for me. Satan is killing him with these addictions and doing all he can to destroy this marriage. He is surrounded by negative people…his job especially. It is a huge stumbling block and stems a lot of the drug use, and because they work them 7 days a week 14-16 hrs a day, there is no time for anything with him. No calls, no text, no time spent, and it promotes the drug use as well just so he can get through the day to work long hours. Please lift him up to be saved from satans captivity and our marriage restored.
Kim, we are still praying for you and Tim…we’re adding a new job/better environment to our list for Tim. Praying that God continues to strengthen and sustain you as your hope grows into faith for a better tomorrow and marriage. We’re praying and trusting God to do what seems like the impossible, but knowing that only He can make Tim into a new and better man. And we both know our God is amazing and can do it. Please don’t give up now, keep trusting and believing and soon your harvest will come.
Please pray for my relationship with my adult (31 yes old) stepdaughter. We’ve only been married a year & this is the 3rd time she’s stopped talking to me & won’t allow us to see the grandchildren. Pray to soften hearts & God’s guidance.
Praying that your stepdaughter will seek God and allow Him to lead/guide her with her feelings and interactions with you and her father. Praying that she will let go of past hurts, expectations and seek to give you and the marriage a chance. May you continue to be patient, loving and kind and win her over and may the children not be used as pawns, but see the beauty of blended families.
Pray that God will show me what decision to make about my marriage. My husband and I are both Christians; he had an affair about 5 years ago. I thought God led me to stay in my marriage but I now have doubts, as too much has transpired since then that has caused me too much emotional pain. I no longer have the desire to stay. My husband is so indifferent in how he treats me so I think that he feels the same. I struggle to pray for my marriage as I don’t know what to pray for. I would like to be loved fully and unconditionally and be able to love fully and unconditionally without fear of betrayal.
Praying that you and your husband will cling to God and allow Him to heal both of you…and as He continues to work in your hearts, may you find that your doubts and circumstances are the attempts of the enemy to destroy your marriage and keep you from believing in God’s restorative power. Keep trusting, believing and hoping for the best – focus on the good and celebrate each victory with your husband. You may have to lead the way, but just a little more love and hope can make a huge difference, especially silly if you know deep down you do not want to leave.
Today, I ask for prayers for my husband and on our marriage. We are struggling individually and in our marriage. I love him with all my heart but have not always acted or shown that love to him. I have asked for God’s forgiveness and ask for my husbands as well. I pray that God will come into my marriage, heal the broken spaces, help us to reconcile and to rebuild and restore. I pray for courage and patience to weather these difficult days, and that peace replace the hurt, anger, and anxiety I am feeling.
Adding our prayers to yours for more joy, peace and love in your marriage – that you both will feel loved, appreciated and respected- that communicating with each other will be a pleasure and not a burden and that you will willingly serve one another. Praying that you don’t let the past keep you broken or separated, but that you both will do all you can to move forward and trust God with your future.
I need prayers and healing for my sin against my wife and God. I was unfaithful and have sunk into a pit of evil temptation. I will contact a pastor from our church, but I need more in this moment to get the right help I need.
Praying that you have repented and ended the relationship and remain focused on your relationship with God and your wife. May she forgive you in time while working with you to rebuild your marriage and make it honorable and awesome. May you both be a blessing to one another in the days to come.
Please pray that my wife would draw a line under the past but not under our relationship, that she would see that forgiveness means reconciliation and that she would want to work with me to save our marriage and family. Please Lord, I don’t understand.
Praying for you and Kate to persevere in your marriage and that you will both be able to forgive each other (and yourselves) and experience all that God has for you.
**Keep crying out to God, we’re praying for you even when you don’t post because we’re all a part of God’s family and we believe in the power of prayer. And until we hear otherwise from you, we’ll keep praying for the reconciliation of your marriage.
Thank you Melodee and everyone for your continued prayers.
I know you have me on your list and on your heart. It is a real blessing and help to be able to come here and pray in writing. If it is a misuse of the site or is creating a problem in any way, please let me know. I wouldn’t want to do anything to spoil or this wonderful ministry, or choke it with repeated requests when there are so many others out there who need prayer too.
God bless you all for your steadfast faithfulness and love.
