Heavenly Father I come to you in Jesus name. You have seen my pain and Steve’s children’s pain and hurt caused by Steve’s actions of lying, betrayal, rejection, and abandonment due to Meth and lust addiction. I lift up our broken hearts to you, asking for your healing touch and comfort to surround us during this difficult time.
Lord, we pray for Steve’s conviction and repentance. We ask that you would open his eyes to the sin he is living in and the consequences it has on his relationship with you and our family. Holy Spirit, we invite you to work in his heart, drawing him back to your loving embrace. Break every chain of addiction that holds him captive, preventing him from walking in your perfect will for his life. I’m sure your will is not for him to be living in sin with another woman.
Father, your word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. We declare this truth over Steve’s life, believing that you can transform him from the inside out. We pray for a radical encounter with your love and grace that will lead him to true repentance and a desire to live according to your Word.
Lord, comfort us in our pain and grant us the strength to forgive and extend grace to Steve. Surround us with your peace and fill the our hearts with your love. Help us to trust in your perfect plan and to lean on you for guidance and provision.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you can bring beauty out of this situation. May your will be done in Steve’s life, and may your name be glorified through the restoration of our family.
Amen! Praying with you for Steve to surrender his life and will go the Lord and for the restoration/reconciliation of your marriage and the other familial relationships in Steve’s life.
Lord, I ask in Jesus name that where my beloved, Steve has separated from me in any way —whether physically, emotionally, or mentally—I pray You would bring him back. Thank You, Lord, that even though he may leave me, You have promised that You never will (Deuteronomy 31:6). Lord, I pray for restoration of any emotional and physical separation between us. Change our hearts and help me to be everything he needs me to be. Restore us emotionally together again. Give me courage and strength to fight for our relationship until it is the way You want it to be.
I pray that he will not be lured into any trap or enticement by the enemy. Open his eyes to see that if You are for us, no one can be against us and succeed (Romans 8:31). Help him to understand that separation, except for the purpose of working things out, is not Your perfect will for our lives. I trust that anything we go through will be for Your glory (Romans 8:18). Enable him to “taste and see that” You are a good God and that he will find the greatest blessings by following You and trusting in Your ways. (Psalm 34:8).
Help him to hear Your voice and follow You (John 10:27). Draw us both closer to You and closer to each other. Where our love for one another has failed, help us to fall in love all over again in even greater measure than ever before. Just as no one can “separate us from the love of Christ,” I pray that nothing will be able to separate us from our love for each other (Romans 8:35). In Jesus’ name I pray.
Praying that you will continue to trust God and stand in the gap for your marriage as long as God calls you to fight for it. May your strength be renewed and you continuously experience the blessings and favor of God upon your life as you honor Him.
Please pray for 3 couples whose marriage are under attack by satan. Pray for God to intervene in these marriages. That each couple would seek Him & harden hearts would soften. They would repent & draw closer to Jesus & each other. Forgiveness would flow. Restoration that only Jesus can do. Thank you for standing in the gap. A concerned Mom (No names, Jesus knows)
Praying that every force that is trying to destroy these marriages is bound and that by the grace, love and power of God’s spirit and willing hearts these marriages are restored and revived. May all three marriages reflect the goodness, grace, mercy and love of God. May you continue to have peace of mind and spirit as you trust God to heal these marriages.
Please pray for my marriage, my husband Trevor has filed for divorce, and we are separated. He does not want to see or speak to me. Please pray God softens his heart and that he forgives me for all that I have done wrong. I have found God and I am trying to reconcile. Please God, help us?
Praying that you will continue to grow stronger in your relationship with God and no matter how God answers this prayer for your marriage you will trust Him. Also praying that the two of you will come together and work through your differences with compassion, mercy and grace …that both of you will forgive each other and make a sincere effort to have a marriage that reflects the love of Christ.
Amen! We agree in prayer!
Please pray for my husband to open up his heart and his family to open up their hearts to understand that I am a human and we make mistakes in life but never wanted for anyone to get hurt. We have been through 34 years together and many in a moldy home and I realized that most of my life was in a toxic moldy environment. I want them to learn and understand how this affects some and others are affected differently but that I love them and I am sorry for anything that I said that was hurtful to anyone.
I mold raged by text messages and it hurt my family and for that I want God to help them understand that I wasn’t being hateful but was being affected by a toxic exposure. My heart doesn’t have malice or hate but I say things in a bad exposure that is hurtful and don’t really mean it!
I want forgiveness from them and especially the love of my life, my husband and would do anything to help make things right! I love them and I have already asked forgiveness from God but they don’t understand. I am genetically susceptible and so are our kids and my husband has struggled with many things that have occurred due to my exposures. I love them and I am sorry for hurting them but I can’t be in a toxic environment and be good.
Praying that the mold issues in your home are addressed and resolved, that you continue to seek their forgiveness and filter your thoughts, words and actions through the word of God. Praying that you will accept your current situation and work harder by submitting to the Holy Spirit and let Him guide what you say and think. Praying for you to persevere no matter how hard it gets, even if you stumble – stay the course. And may your family see that you are making every effort to change and notice your progress and keep you encouraged so that you continue to thrive. Trust God with your family and living situation- He is faithful and will bring you through.
Our hearts agree in prayer for you, Elaine. May you lean into His help and guidance!
Please keep praying that God will repair our broken, marriage, family and relationship. It has been over a year since my wife divorced me. A recent e-mail to me included “You need to let go of those false hopes about any kind of reconciliation. I’m not interested in reconciling.” I pray the Lord will soften her heart and draw us back together again, not to trap her against her will but to desire what we had again and to join together in rebuilding our family with Christ at the centre always.
Merry Christmas and blessings to the Marriage Missions family. Thank you so much for the good, exceedingly necessary, exceedingly important work you do here.
Praying that Kate will submit to God’s will and dedicate her life to Christ and live for Him. Also praying for to continue to trust God and not miss out on all that He’s doing in your life. And definitely praying for your children, especially for your son to be secure in The identity God has given him. May you find peace in your current situation and trust God with your future.
Amen!
Dear Lord, Tatenda has started the divorce process and this has broken my heart as I am still committed to our marriage. Please Lord give me direction. I pray for your will to be done on our lives. In my heart I love him as he is also the father of my children. Lord please direct my path and please give me clarity regarding what I must do in our current state.
Adding our prayers to yours for your marriage to be revived and not end in divorce, may you clearly hear from God during this difficult season and like Mary- be humble and willingly obey what He is calling you to do.
Have been married since July. There was a little misunderstanding and my husband wants a divorce. I love my husband so much and have apologised and done everything he wouldn’t forgive. I am praying fervently buy I need others to also support me in prayers.
Praying that both of you will seek and trust God with your marriage and hearts. Praying that you work through this disagreement and in doing so, your communication improves, your bond is stronger, your love for one another is deeper and you never forget God’s faithfulness.
My husband of 25 years has left. I was blinded by years of bitterness and I was not a safe place to come home to. I realize it really was all me. He is a loving and kind man who I turned into a friendless, mean and angry man who has no hope. We have 5 kids who are devastated and want to blame him. But it wasn’t him. It was me.
God, heal our marriage. Heal his heart and change me. Bring him back to me please. So I can treat him the way I should have.
Praying that your husband is deepening his relationship with God and doing all He can to live a godly life. Also praying that you surrender your heart and life to Christ and are taking the necessary steps to heal from your brokenness. May you both take steps towards becoming delivered from anger/bitterness – prayer, fasting, counseling; reading, meditating and living out God’s word and utilizing your support system that keeps you encouraged and reminds you to live for Christ. Praying that as you work in yourselves and then your marriage, you both will find it’s not too late for you to have a wonderful and blessed marriage.
