THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN SUBMIT A PRAYER
REQUEST FOR YOUR MARRIAGE.
To do so, just:
POST YOUR PRAYER FOR YOUR MARRIAGE
IN THE “COMMENT” SPACE PROVIDED BELOW.
Please know that we hold these requests as sacred. We consider it an honor to pray for your marriage. And we know that many other people pray for the requests
As you look to posting your requests:
Please observe the following guidelines for your prayer request:
• THIS IS NOT THE FORMAT TO ASK QUESTIONS OR OBTAIN ADVICE. This is for prayer requests and prayers ONLY. Please find another article in which to post your comments and questions on this web site for that type of interaction.
• Make each prayer request marriage-related. They can be exclusively for your marriage, and/or for the marriages of others.
Also:
• Don’t give last names or contact info of those to be prayed for. It’s important to protect each other’s privacy. First names are sufficient.
• Make your requests brief (500 characters or less), if possible.
Keep in Mind:
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18)
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!” (1 Chronicles 16:11)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6)
And if you feel led:
• Please join us in praying for other posted marriage requests. We all need prayer at different times in our marriages.
“…Pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)
PLEASE NOTE:
We review all prayer requests before posting them to reduce spam and offensive content.
Please ask the Lord with me that He would restore and reconcile our marriage, that He would give me clear direction, that He would rescue my son, and that He would give us all a thirst for the Word and the desire to obey Him in all things.
Praying for Kate to repent and repair her relationship with God and that your son has a true encounter with God. Praying that once Kate and your son have surrendered to Christ they are able to love themselves and others. May God make it plain to you what He would have you to do and be in this season of your life. May you continue to trust God in everything and live for Him – even while your heart aches knowing that in the end, this part of your life will bring Him glory.
My wife shocked me by filing for divorce this week. There has been no infidelity, hostility, or violence in our marriage at any time. I’ve just struggled with mental health problems and I haven’t recovered as quickly as she hoped. We’re both believers and I don’t believe this is what God desires for our family.
Please, pray on our behalf that the Lord would work in her heart and mine toward reconciliation. I’m asking the Holy Spirit to intervene to prevent the divorce and make time and space for the Lord to continue to work in our lives. Please pray to protect our marriage from outside forces and voices of the world or the enemy that say divorce is the solution. Please soften her heart to see the devastation this will have on our children and give her supernatural grace towards me such that she at least delays and at best dissolves this divorce filing and opens her heart to the radical power of God to transform our marriage and restore it to even better than what it was before.
Praying that you will continue to do what is necessary for you to be well and that you will continue to trust God with your life, your wife and marriage. May God continue to speak to your wife’s heart and strengthen her to stand firm against the attacks of the enemy. If there are issues/concerns that are bothering her, may she willingly share them with you and you tackle them together with the aid of the Holy Spirit. May both of you realize the love you have for one another is vibrant and not dead- may you do all you can to stay connected through open communication and serving one another. Stay the course and trust God!
