If God has given you a testimony, a personal experience on being a married man— one that could help and encourage other married men, we would appreciate it if you would write it down and send it to us. Please send it to us even if what you have to write isn’t very long in length.
Please share your testimony with us by going to the CONTACT topic. There, you can click into the “Contact Us” option. You can then write your testimony there to send it to us.
If you want to remain anonymous, please let us know. We will not to reveal your name and the name(s) of your loved ones if that is your wish. We can change a few of the names and do other things to protect you and others that need it. Our aim is to encourage others, not to embarrass anyone.
Thanks so much!
(USA) My wife and I have been married for 23 years. This year has brought some of our greatest trials of our faith. This month we had an ef2 twister touch down in our front yard (no damage, no loss) and today I preach at my 20 year old daughter’s funeral. She took her life last week. But King David wrote “I will be full of joy.” hH wrote this when his son died.
We take everything said here, put it through the Bible and use it in our marriage. We are stronger, richer and I am starting to say “I love you” more and more. Thanks for this sight for this time, and thanks for strong marriages growing because someone cares. Rlee N Dot still here!! Deuteronomy 8:3 –not just by bread alone, but every word of God teaches us!
So, so sorry for your loss of your precious daughter. Many of us here will be praying for your family. It’s so sad when any parent outlives their children. We cry with you. We pray you and Dot keep holding onto each other. Death of a child and trials, such as the twister brought your way can eventually cause division if you aren’t careful. Please don’t allow that to happen. May you experience His peace, even in the eye of the storm and beyond!
