The Skit Guys put together this beautiful video. The Skit Guys are an extremely talented comedy team. Their videos, including this one, are featured on You Tube. But in this particular video, the Skit Guys step aside. You will see that there is no comedy acted out. Instead, they allow the story to be told of the long expected coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through beautiful music and amazing artistry this video weaves together the gospel message. We don’t know who the artist is. They never say. But we need to say that whoever created this wonderful piece should be applauded.
As the description of this video says, “All of creation, all of God’s story, all of us, long for Christ’s coming.” How absolutely true!
The Long Expected Jesus Christ
In this video you will see an artist painting the story of Mary and Joseph at the beginning of their long trek to Bethlehem. You think that this story will go in that direction. But then it backs up and starts at that point with the creation of the heavens and the earth. From there it shows the rich history of the anticipation of the long awaited messiah, Jesus Christ. “Watch this moving piece that illustrates how all of history culminates in the birth of Jesus.”
