  1. (USA)  I remember hearing this song years ago when I was in a very hurtful marriage. It so spoke to my situation then. My husband of 24 years left for the 26 yr. old secretary, and after many years of being single, I met the most wonderful person.

    He is so sensitive to the words he uses to handle conflict, and I not only thank God for such a Godly man, but cherish his resolve to be loving and respectful. Thank you for your honest testimony that reflects the birth of this song, and I only hope that it falls on the ears of those that need it. It’s content is timeless. I wish that it could be re-released.

I believe the Lord is not only bringing about healing in my marriage, but He will also use us in the future to spur others on toward love and good deeds in their marriages.
