I‘ve been married to my husband for 5 and a half years. I found out he was having an affair 6 months ago. Since then he has tried to stop it but has told me he is not in love with me anymore…that he loves the other person. He says he is trying to work on our marriage but can’t get those feelings back for me. Please pray for God to restore our marriage. We have a 1 year old and 4 year old. I am so sad and have been praying everyday for God to restore.
Please pray for my family situation. My husband is always rude and arrogant towards me. No respect or bonding towards me. Please pray to change and soften his heart towards me.
Both my wife and myself have allowed our hearts to be hardened. Please pray that the God of heaven will soften our hearts and shed more of His love in our hearts and marriage, that we might glorify God and be used in ministry in His kingdom.
Please pray for my husband’s repentance and to return back to God and for the restoration of our marriage.
Please pray for my marriage of 10 years. My husband had an affair for 5 years with a woman whilst married to me. I was very angry for a long time and it appeared I was set to leave the marraige. I stayed on and in between we had two lovely boys, though he told me he did not want anymore kids after the first one.
That brought a second setback to me as I felt totally unloved. He has since moved away to work far away and has bought property there as well. I feel insecure about this move and feel he is on his way out. Please pray for me so that I can be emotionally, spiritually strong for myself and the kids, should he decide to leave.
God, for so many years I have prayed to you for a husband/child. I know our focus is to be on your our relationship with you, yet Lord, I would compare myself to Adam, and ask that you send me the man you made for me. The one I’m to help and support. Let nothing hinder him from me or I from him. I want him to be strong in your word Lord to help me grow in the faith. To help teach me and our child(ren), of the faith and to help us grow our faith in you, Lord. I don’t want him to twist your word or to profane it. I want him to be a strong model of Christ in his love for me and our family. Lord, you know the man I need coupled with the man I want. Please let him find me so that we may begin our friendship in you, and grow together for all our days on this Earth til we meet with you in Heaven. In Jesus name I ask this of you Lord.
Praise God for this website as it is very encouraging as in the midst of a separation. Please pray for the softening of our hearts and forgiveness so that we can move to reconciliation. Please pray for reconciliation of the past before our marriage. I am surrendering this marriage to God and want his will. I ask for restoration and reconciliation. I pray for faith, endurance and patience. I pray for ears to hear Gods leading and a heart to obey. Praise you Lord.
Prayer for marriage restoration and reconciliation
My mother in law has been living with us for 3 years and I can’t not take it any longer. I’ve talked to my wife about how I feel but she claims that her mom has no where to go. Her mom had a house next block over where her husband and son lives. Her mother and her father do not get along and she wants to live with us. Please pray for me, I want het to move out.
Please pray for my marriage. I’ve been married for two years to a man who seems emotionally, physically, mentally unavailable for me. He won’t work, and refuses to provide for me and our 2 daughters yet he’s out drinking every night. Recently found out he’s cheating and it broke me up inside. I’m not sure whether to walk out of the marriage or give a second chance. Please pray for me to find a way to internal peace and please pray for my husband to change his ways to those God chose for a husband and a father.
In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I faithfully ask the Lord to work miracles in every marriage mentioned on this site. Every promise that God has ever made is as good as done. God promised a savior for us all and the manifestation of that promise is the glory of Christmas. Let this day be a reminder of how good and faithful the Lord is.
He has promised restoration for the years lost and double blessings for all of our troubles. Make your requests known to God and praise the Lord and not the problem. He will not only meet our needs but go above and beyond all we ask or think.
Continue to pray for one another and have faith for one another because our God is always in the midst when we are gathered in his almighty name. Together we claim victory over all the works of the devil because that’s what Jesus Christ came for. I pray that you all have a very Merry Christmas and a very blessed and prosperous new year.
Trust the Lord and not in your own understanding but with faithful prayers of petition expect the Lord to fix these messes and receive his rightful place is not only the Lord of our lives as individuals but the Lord of our marriages. May 2015 be a breakthrough year for us all. All praise and glory to God in Jesus name amen!
Bless you, Amen.
Please pray that David will find God and be able to be guided to get help for his passive agessivenes, so that maybe we can heal. Please pray that I can find the support needed to carry on in life. Most of all I would like to have my husband back, not the person he is. I pray that God can open his heart and soul and he will make changes that are only positive.
Please pray for us who were in love for 3 years..and now there is misunderstanding between both families…dowry problem, mis talks etc…we both are in ministry and he is a pastor.
My husband is a Christian, but two years ago be relapsed into drugs, alcohol, gambling, and porn. I discovered that he had been having an online affair with a woman for two years, and had visited her in secret. He left me for three months, and during this time he has sexual encounters with several different women.
I took him back because he was remorseful, and we renewed our marriage vows. A month later, he was acting out again. He did nothing to restore my trust, and just wanted me to “forgive him” on the spot. I threw him out of the house four months ago. He was seldom home, always high or drunk, and did not contribute anything to the household for over a year. He was just freeloading off me, while he was off doing his thing. He had also been in contact with his online girlfriend again.
Now he alternates between saying that he cannot live without me, to being totally indifferent towards me. I have not seen him for 4 months. I have told him that I will not accept him back unless he is in counseling and a sobriety program, and turns away from his sin. I am heartbroken and sad, but also not even sure if I love him anymore. Please, please, please pray for him, and for me. I don’t want a divorce, but my life has become an emotional roller-coaster because of his addictions.
God spoke to me through the articles on this website, especially through this scripture: Mark 11:25.
“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
I realize that I need to forgive my husband, his girlfriend, my stepson, and my mother-in-law, so that my prayers can be answered. I feel very resentful towards all of them. I feel particularly resentful of my mother-in-law, because she called me “a liar” after she asked what was going on in the marriage, and I told her about her son’s addiction issues.
My husband has left me and blocked calls and messaging. He says we are done. I have been cruel to him in the past and have been trying to change. I am praying to save our marriage. I am desperate to save my marriage. I love him.
My husband has said he wants a divorce. We have been married 12 years. I was very verbally cruel to him sometimes. I have been reading the Bible and have seen a counselor to understand why I do this to him. I want to save our marriage but he has blocked contact. Please pray for my marriage. I do not want a divorce. He has issues too which he says he sees but does not wish to fix them with me.
